Chief Cardiovascular Research Liaison

The Victorian Cardiovascular Research Network Lead plays a pivotal role in driving day-to-day operations and supporting the growth of cardiovascular research network in Victoria. This position requires strong organisational and administrative skills, as well as the ability to manage projects proactively and autonomously.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that drive cardiovascular research forward.
Key Responsibilities- Providing secretariat support to the CVRN Executive Committee, including minute-taking, managing action items, and reporting.
- Leading the coordination of high-profile CVRN events and capacity-building workshops for researchers.
- Supporting social media and communications to promote cardiovascular research in Victoria.
- Identifying collaboration and funding opportunities that benefit the network's stakeholders.
- Representing the Network at external meetings and forums to further our mission.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the health and medical research environment in Victoria and Australia is essential.
- Experience in planning and delivering research, capacity building and/or networking events is required.
- Maintaining positive and effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders is critical.
- The successful candidate must have proven collaboration and high-level negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for various audiences, including government, researchers, executives, donors, and community members, are necessary.
