About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Events Specialist to join our Sydney office on a 6-month contract. As a key member of our Marketing and Events team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality events that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement event strategies that align with our business goals
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, including logistics, invitations, registrations, and communications
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery
  • Support the Sydney Office Managing Partner and Industry teams in planning and delivery of impactful events and activities
  • Ensure event processes, calendars, budgets, and protocols are followed
  • Assist with the delivery of firm-wide initiatives, events, communications, sponsorships, and other strategic events
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, public relations, or event management, or suitable relevant experience
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in event management in a high-volume, corporate environment
  • Excellent planning and time management skills, including ability to handle conflicting deadlines and work with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and project coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Commercial orientation, managing budgets, performance, and return on investment evaluation
