Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated business analysts to support the clinical and corporate teams within our organization.

  • The role as Business Analyst is integral to achieving finance and business outcomes within clinical and corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyse finance and business management topics to inform stakeholders.
  • Support and collaborate with Managers and Directors for financial reporting, business advice, procurement guidance, and human resource information.
  • Apply financial skills to compile month end reporting, reviewing, investigating, coding claims and invoices for approval.
  • Use well-developed communication skills to research and draft correspondence and prepare reports on numerous matters.

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of the Tasmanian Government financial framework, associated legislation, and Government accounting procedures.
  • Demonstrated advanced financial analysis skills with the ability to research and interpret information and recommend action.
  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, providing advice within a political, social, and organisational context.
