Financial Accountant for a Property Developer


We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our dynamic property development business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and managing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and manage monthly cash flow reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Reconcile bank statements, process intercompany transactions, and maintain balance sheets
  • Manage accounts payable and group payroll from end-to-end
  • Oversee inventory management and cost control processes
  • Analyze cost of goods sold and variances
  • Ensure accuracy across POS and inventory systems
  • Provide finance insights and analysis to support operational decision-making

About You:


  • Experience in hospitality, restaurants, wineries, or other inventory-based environments is beneficial
  • Accounting degree (CPA or CA beneficial - membership paid)
  • Group entity experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of POS systems and Xero is beneficial
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team environment
  • Curious and eager to understand the operational side of business
