About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Recognition Services Coordinator to join our team, supporting ADF members as they transition to civilian employment.

The APS 4 ADFTCR Officer is responsible for undertaking operational activities to support civil recognition services. This involves coordinating member submissions and evidence for assessment, ensuring accurate data collection for reporting, and providing advice on civil recognition of skills at ADF Transition Seminars.

In addition, the successful candidate will have knowledge of competency assessment for Defence and training data contained in the Defence HR database. Holding the TAE Workplace Assessor Skill Set or a willingness to undertake study to achieve this micro-credential is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate member submissions and evidence for assessment
  • Ensure accurate data collection for reporting
  • Provide advice on civil recognition of skills at ADF Transition Seminars
About Our Team

You will be part of the ADFTCR team, working closely with the Issuance team of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and the National Skills Framework team.

  • A good understanding of legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to share information, monitor work practices, and develop local procedures

The APS 4 Learning and Development Officer will enjoy a competitive salary range of $76,277 - $83,274 per annum, plus up to 15.4% Superannuation.
