Expert Civil Recognition Coordinator

The APS is seeking a highly skilled Expert Civil Recognition Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting ADF members as they transition to civilian employment, coordinating the operational activities for civil recognition services.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage with transitioning ADF members and collect accurate data to inform reporting to senior leadership. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with the Defence Registered Training Organisation (DRTO).
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the Recognition of Prior Learning process to support civil recognition for transitioning ADF members
- Collect and analyze data to inform reporting to senior leadership
- Engage with transitioning ADF members to ensure accurate data collection and analysis
- Provide advice on civil recognition of skills at ADF Transition Seminars and unit Briefings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of competency assessment for Defence and training data contained in the Defence HR database
- Experience working with an RTO or within the national vocational education and training system (VET) training system
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
