This is a long-term contract opportunity to work within the veteran community in Townsville.

The role will involve coordinating activities, providing training, and maintaining professional relationships with outreach program providers.

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with outreach program providers, facilitating communication and coordinating activities.
  • Provide onboarding and offboarding training to outreach program providers, serving as the liaison point of contact for ongoing information, debriefing, and support.
  • Manage a database of outreach program providers, updating intake allocators and administrative staff on availability.
  • Evaluate requests for partnership referrals and advise on suitability.
  • Engage with complainants of outreach program providers to identify concerns and develop resolution options.
  • Act as the first escalation point for complex outreach provider issues raised by intake allocators and clinical governance officers.
  • Pursue a small clinical workload of clients as negotiated with the director.
  • Participate in community development and service promotion activities, as required.

Mandatory requirements include qualifications as an AHPRA-registered psychologist, mental health occupational therapist, or mental health registered nurse with full AHPRA registration, or equivalent qualifications in social work or counseling.
