">Overarching Objective:
">The primary goal of this position is to develop, coordinate, and deliver a research development program that supports Indigenous PhD pathways at the University. This role plays a critical part in fostering an inclusive environment where Indigenous students can thrive.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Design and implement culturally responsive research training initiatives across various disciplines;">
- Establish partnerships with academic units and research centers to enhance research capabilities;">
- Develop strategies for improving Indigenous student retention and success;">
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align the program's goals with the institution's broader objectives;">
- Manage logistics for workshops, conferences, and other events related to the research development program.
Requirements:
">- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience and education;">
- Proven ability to develop strategic plans and execute operational tasks supporting Indigenous student engagement;">
- Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to engage sensitively with diverse stakeholders;">
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance competing demands effectively;">
- Demonstrated understanding of Indigenous student experiences and cultural safety principles.
