The primary goal of this position is to develop, coordinate, and deliver a research development program that supports Indigenous PhD pathways at the University. This role plays a critical part in fostering an inclusive environment where Indigenous students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement culturally responsive research training initiatives across various disciplines;">
  • Establish partnerships with academic units and research centers to enhance research capabilities;">
  • Develop strategies for improving Indigenous student retention and success;">
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align the program's goals with the institution's broader objectives;">
  • Manage logistics for workshops, conferences, and other events related to the research development program.

Requirements:

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience and education;">
  • Proven ability to develop strategic plans and execute operational tasks supporting Indigenous student engagement;">
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to engage sensitively with diverse stakeholders;">
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to balance competing demands effectively;">
