Program Coordinator Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced educator and leader to manage the daily operations of our out-of-school-hours care (OSHC) program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program that caters to the diverse needs of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement programs that promote child development and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and the broader community to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Strong understanding of Child Care legislation, including the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Previous experience in childcare service management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software.
  • Proven leadership skills to develop and motivate a team of staff.
