Enable Independence as a Support Worker

We are seeking dedicated individuals to support people with disabilities in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

As a support worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence within the community and assisting with daily living tasks such as transferring, manual handling, domestic assistance, social support, in-home personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and transport.

**Preferred Qualities**

  • Experience in personal care, complex behaviors, mental health, and sensory support
  • Commitment to family and person-centered approaches, supporting inclusion and participation
  • Proficiency in English, strong communication skills, and active listening for instructions
  • Medication certification to support participants with medical administration

**Requirements**

  • Flexible working hours
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Personal attributes and qualities to provide exceptional support and care to people with disabilities individually and within a team
  • National Police Check
  • Full Australian Driver's License and own vehicle
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Working with Children Clearance
  • NDIS Workers Screening Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Work history and/or experience, including resume
  • Commitment to undertake in-house training and professional development as required

Prior experience in support worker roles is beneficial but not necessary.
