We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term viability of our critical services.

This is a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension for the right candidate.

  • Led the divisional budget cycle, ensuring accurate and timely completion in line with departmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and executives to review financial performance and inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and present regular full-year forecasts, flagging potential financial risks and developing recommendations to maintain budget integrity.
  • Manage Service Level Agreements and funding arrangements.
  • Actively participate in monthly performance review meetings, providing insightful variance analysis and identifying key opportunities for improvement.

A proactive and strategic finance professional with a passion for public service will excel in this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
