Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Management Accountant to join our team and play a key role in driving value through strong financial analysis and business partnering.

The successful candidate will support the financial performance and reporting of key enabling areas within the Inland Rail Program, providing accurate and timely financial data and insightful management reporting.

About the Role

  • Prepare monthly reports that include variance and trend analysis, forecasting and budgeting for projects and/or functional areas of the Inland Rail Program.
  • Oversee and facilitate the collection and processing of all inputs to the monthly reporting process, including accruals.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial data and insightful management reporting to support business decisions.
  2. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Prepare monthly reports that include variance and trend analysis, forecasting and budgeting for projects and/or functional areas of the Inland Rail Program.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to have experience with financial planning and budgeting, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
