HR Advisor Opportunity at Linfox

Linfox is a leading logistics company that believes in the power of teamwork. We're seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team in West Melbourne VIC.

About the Role

As an HR Advisor, you will provide expert guidance and support to our business units, focusing on building leadership capability, employee engagement, and coaching for our Intermodal team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-level advisory support to employees and managers on employment matters and resolving HR-related queries
  • Assisting with the performance and development planning cycle, including coaching people leaders
  • Investigating employee grievances, complaints, and disciplinary processes
  • Analyzing people data and reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Interpreting and advising on applicable agreements and awards, ensuring compliance with Fair Work and other regulations
  • Supporting managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Monitoring compliance of HR-related processes and documents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience working as an HR Advisor or HRBP within the transport industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive information
  • Impeccable organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Power BI and creating dashboards, including data analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and achieve high standards with minimal supervision
  • A degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Logistics, or a relevant discipline
