Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Monitor and manage daily cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital optimisation across all business units.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (AASB), tax obligations, and coordinate external audit processes while maintaining internal controls.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering professional development and maintaining high-performance standards.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights, cost analysis, and support for business development initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CA/CPA qualification with 5+ years of financial controller or senior finance experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
  • Expert-level Excel skills and experience with financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards (AASB) and taxation requirements.
  • Proven experience in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
