We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Excellence Partner to join our team and drive financial excellence across our restaurant development lifecycle.
About The RoleThis is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the financial reporting, analysis, and strategic planning behind new restaurant builds and real estate portfolio. You will partner cross-functionally with construction, real estate, franchisees, and commercial finance to ensure that every site decision is financially sound, strategically aligned, and data-driven.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver accurate weekly and monthly progress cost reports on new restaurant builds.
- Partner with Construction Managers to track financial impacts from scope changes.
- Complete post-build cost analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support end-of-project reconciliations and WIP management.
- Analyse and communicate budget deviations to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Ensure lease-related build costs are captured in budgets.
- Continuously improve cost reporting systems and dashboards.
- Conduct financial feasibility assessments for new and existing sites.
- Collaborate with Real Estate Development Managers and key executives to align financial inputs.
- Track pipeline performance, provide variance analysis, and benchmark key metrics (e.g., rent, build cost, equipment).
- Support the development of long-term real estate strategies.
- Experience: 3-7 years in a fast-paced finance or commercial environment; QSR or property development experience is preferred.
- Education: CPA, CA, or CIMA qualification (or near completion) is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills essential; Power BI, Smartsheet, and multi-platform experience highly regarded.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis, and commercial KPIs.
- Communication: Able to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Relationship Skills: Adaptable, influential, and able to build strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Analytical Mindset: Curious, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused.
