This fixed term contract position offers a collaborative and supportive payroll environment where you can work on end to end payroll processing using Chris21.
About The Role- You will join the dynamic payroll team as an experienced Payroll Officer, working alongside other Payroll Officers in a high volume setting.
- End to end payroll processing for 2,000+ employees on a weekly & fortnightly basis is a key responsibility of this role.
- Payroll Processing: Utilize Chris21 for end to end payroll processing.
- Compliance and Legislation: Ensure adherence to industry awards and stay up to date with legislative changes.
- Reporting and Tax Obligations: Prepare monthly payroll reports and manage State and Federal tax obligations including PAYG tax, Payroll tax, Superannuation Guarantee contributions.
- Leave Management and Superannuation: Manage superannuation, leave entitlement and payments effectively.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with ATO on issues and respond to payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative payroll environment, develop their skills in payroll processing, compliance and legislation, and contribute to the success of the organization.
