
Payroll Specialist

The role of a Payroll Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of payroll processes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a comprehensive and professional service in managing fortnightly payrolls.
- Collaborate with acquired practices to gain insight into their current payroll procedures and penalty frameworks.
- Work closely with payroll providers to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of payroll data and reports.
- Test payroll awards, developing compliance and governance controls.
- Process fortnightly and ad hoc payrolls for a growing workforce, including new joiners, adjustments, leave tracking, processing, and reporting.
- Other payroll-related tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an end-to-end payroll role is essential.
- Extensive experience in managing data using MS Excel and querying through Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Australian payroll across all states.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work within set timescales.
- Problem-solving & advising employees on queries in a professional manner.
- High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
