Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Leader to oversee the daily operations at our Melbourne Distribution Centre.

The Role Overview

This is a leadership position that demands strong focus on workplace safety, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience in guiding teams towards key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring team members adhere to established processes and procedures, collaborating with a leadership team to achieve operational goals, and fostering open communication channels with team members and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a safe working environment by enforcing relevant processes and procedures
  • Collaborating with a leadership team to drive operational success and meet KPI targets
  • Maintaining effective communication channels with team members and stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with other Team Members to support the achievement of team objectives
  • Managing process accountability and overseeing team activities
  • Identifying process gaps within the team and providing relevant training to enhance team capabilities
  • Coordinating daily team activities

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar senior leadership position
  • Experience managing teams to achieve KPIs and targets
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • WMOS experience
  • Experience in a multi-pack SKU environment
  • Demonstrated experience in occupational health and safety management
  • Strong people management skills
