Ambulance Victoria is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Specialist Operations and Coordination division.

About the Role
  • This position provides strategic leadership for high-quality patient care and emergency response.
  • The role will lead divisional performance, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements, key performance indicators, and best patient care.
  • Strategic advice will be provided on AV's goals, risk mitigation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • The candidate will drive integration and innovation across the division to enhance coordination and care of complex patients.
  • Fostering teamwork with system partners and stakeholders is essential to maintaining and enhancing AV's reputation and credibility in health services.
About You:
  • You should be a highly motivated senior leader with extensive healthcare experience at the senior level.
  • A tertiary or postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical discipline (medicine, paramedicine or similar) is required.
  • Extensive senior experience in ambulance service operations, including program development and evaluation, is necessary.
  • A strong working knowledge and experience of state-wide telecommunications technology and communications are also required.
  • Proven expertise in advancing clinical knowledge through problem solving and systems thinking is essential.
