Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Buying Director to lead the strategic development and delivery of product assortments across Fashion, Seasonal and Core lines. This role involves overseeing the apparel and accessories categories across Womenswear, Menswear and Childrenswear, driving the Buying function as the voice and advocate of the customer, and staying informed on market trends and competitors.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in buying with a proven track record of delivering successful buying strategies in a fast-paced retail or omnichannel environment, demonstrated leadership skills in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative culture, and strong understanding of financial metrics including revenue, margin, and inventory management.

This is an opportunity to build a successful career in a dynamic industry, working closely with cross-functional teams to align product development objectives with business goals. You will be responsible for providing product strategy inputs to Planning to develop effective divisional and channel budgets and strategies, and ensuring that product assortments balance creativity, innovation, customer preferences and market trends.

Key Accountabilities include building a high-performing team, providing product strategy inputs to Planning, and working closely with Design, Planning and Sourcing teams to align product development objectives with business targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer preferences, leveraging data-driven insights to create product assortments that resonate with target audiences, and proven expertise in costing, margin analysis, and trading to set profitable annual and seasonal assortments.
