Welder Position

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team at a launch site. The selected candidates will be responsible for performing welding tasks, analyzing engineering drawings, and utilizing hand welding and flame-cutting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete welding assignments and procedures safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to assemble structural forms.
  • Perform visual inspections of own welds according to AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 standards.
  • Collaborate with lead welders to analyze engineering drawings and plan welding operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 1+ years of experience with TIG (GTAW) welding per ASME B31.3 normal and high pressure service applications.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated heights up to 120 feet.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, oxy acetylene, fitting, arc gouging, and electronic welding equipment.
  • General mechanical skills in concrete, machining, and alignment/setting.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and AWS/ASME codes.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, and lifting up to 35 lbs unassisted.
  • Must be available for all shifts, overtime, and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs.
