Research Evaluation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Research Evaluation Specialist to manage a mixed-methods evaluation project and supervise research officers.

  • The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience, with a demonstrated track record of high-quality research outcomes and leadership skills.

  • Key responsibilities include leading project operations, managing ethics and governance applications, supervising research officers, and liaising with stakeholders.

  • The successful candidate will also contribute to postgraduate teaching and supervision of ILP/Honours and Higher Degree by Research students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience.

  • Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact.

  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, ability to network effectively, and interact with a diverse range of students and staff.

  • Evidence of highly developed organisational skills and understanding of UNSW's aims, objectives, and values.
