Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to fill the role of Assistant Manager. This individual will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with clients through daily contact and regular meetings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management: Organize and attend regular meetings with clients, General Managers, and Regional Managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Budget Oversight: Directly control budgeted hours and expenses for assigned locations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficiency.
  • Operational Efficiency: Submit accurate monthly billing and inspect work sites daily to guarantee services are delivered consistently with work specifications and Quality Assurance standards.
  • Staff Development: Regularly review assignments with staff to ensure tasks are performed properly and quality of work is maintained at expected levels.
  • Worksite Safety: Ensure the safety of all personnel and equipment, and report accidents and property damage within deadlines.
  • Maintenance Programs: Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for on-site equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Process equipment and supplies orders, and maintain adequate inventories.
  • Performance Improvement: Review operational efficiencies and assist General Managers in improving and upgrading standards, work schedules, etc.
  • Disciplinary Action: Maintain attendance records for all personnel, hold regular meetings to review performance, attendance, and health and safety issues, and administer corrective disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve problems on site, and document complaints and follow up to ensure resolutions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in Hospitality. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and effective communication are essential. Ability to work in a unionized environment is also required.
