Clinical Development Officer Role Description

This role is responsible for designing, developing and delivering clinical learning programs that promote high-quality care and professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical education and experience working with clinical teams to deliver best practice training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Design and Delivery: Develop and facilitate clinical learning programs that meet the needs of designated facilities and interstate sites.
  • Collaboration and Governance: Work closely with Clinical Governance teams to implement and evaluate training initiatives, ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Act as a mentor and role model for clinical and care teams, promoting professional growth and organisational values.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Registered Nurse with current unrestricted registration, minimum 5 years clinical experience and postgraduate qualifications in Education or Clinical Supervision.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Experience in clinical education/teaching within the health sector, ability to travel between facilities and occasional interstate travel.
Work Environment:

This role is based in Adelaide, South Australia, supporting our facilities in SA, NSW and VIC. A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and current driver's licence are also required.
