">About This Opportunity

We have an exciting opening at our Scoresby VIC office for an experienced individual to join our team of technical experts. Your primary role will involve providing exceptional value and solutions to our valued customers by leveraging your expertise to identify and deliver solutions to their everyday needs.

You will work closely with our sales and customer care teams to provide top-notch technical sales support for welding, gas, and abrasives products, from identifying the right products to delivering customised solutions in collaboration with account managers and vendors.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Building, developing, and fostering existing and new customer relationships through regular communication and negotiation.
  • Providing expert advice on welding, gas, and abrasives products to customers, including recommending the best products for specific requirements.
  • Maintaining an opportunity pipeline and providing performance reports, market insights, and customer feedback to drive growth.
  • Sharing your product knowledge and expertise through training and support to our sales and customer service teams.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in delivering technical expertise in the welding, gas, and abrasives industry or a similar hands-on fabrication background.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and influence outcomes.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to collaborate, build positive relationships across different functions within the organisation.
  • A desire to work face-to-face with customers, providing them with tailored technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of CRM systems being highly regarded.
