Job Title: Quality Manager

As a dynamic and experienced professional, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality systems that maintain certifications, legal obligations, and continuously improve product quality, processes, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a quality framework suitable for a growing organization.
  • Ensure compliance with product quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Oversee certification audits and product surveillance testing.
  • Manage consumer and customer complaints, internal quality issues, and the change control process.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and SMEs to monitor supplier and raw material quality.
  • Conduct staff training on processes, systems, and quality standards.
Training, Knowledge & Development:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of operations, products, and certifications.
  • Assist with quality aspects of product development and monitoring.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO9001 and relevant standards.
People Relationships:
  • Work closely with Leadership Team, R&D & Technical Team, Supply Chain Team, and Production Site Teams.
Communication:
  • Regular meetings with the R&D Department.
  • Fortnightly meetings with the R&D Director.
  • Monthly quality reporting and participation in project and business development meetings.
WHS & Sustainability:
  • Follow and promote WHS policies and procedures.
  • Participate in sustainability programs and report incidents.
Person Specifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing, Agri-Products, or FMCG.
  • Education: Tertiary qualifications in science, agronomy, chemical engineering, or a quality-related field are desirable.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of production environments, knowledge of relevant standards, project management, communication, and analytical skills.
