The Sydney office of WT Partnership continues to grow with new high-profile engagements. This includes major projects with multi-national technology clients. As a result, we have a new Senior Quantity Surveyor role in the Data Centre team.

This key position will perform various traditional quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting while exercising sound financial acumen.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Liaising with clients, architects and main contractors
  • Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
  • Master-plan and feasibility budgets
  • Cost checking of developing design
  • Value engineering
  • Tender evaluations and analysis
  • Contract negotiations
  • Cash flow projects
  • Procurement
  • Cost reporting
  • Final account reporting
  • Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
  • Investment analysis

For this role, we are seeking an experienced SQS who has ideally managed Data Centre projects or other similar mission-critical and complex sites.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction. They must also have extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software/Cost X.
