WT Partnership is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Data Centre team.

This is a senior role that will perform various traditional quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience managing mission-critical projects or similar projects of complex design.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions
  • Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Master-planning and feasibility budgeting to ensure project success
  • Cost checking of developing designs to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Value engineering to optimize project outcomes
  • Tender evaluations and analysis to secure best value for clients
  • Contract negotiations to secure favorable terms
  • Cash flow management to ensure project liquidity
  • Procurement to deliver high-quality materials and services
  • Cost reporting to provide transparent and accurate financial information
  • Final account reporting to ensure project closure
  • Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation, and settlement to resolve disputes
  • Investment analysis to inform strategic business decisions

The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction, as well as extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software. They will also have a track record of winning and managing major projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
