Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Management Specialist to join our busy Credit Team in Melbourne.

The Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large customer ledger with high dollar value, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations of bank statements.
  • Review and write credit applications for new customers, conducting thorough credit assessments and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Perform banking, allocation, and receipting tasks efficiently, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process and raise invoices in a timely manner, ensuring seamless cash flow management.
  • Update customer accounts accurately and promptly, resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Prepare and analyze data reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement in credit management processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Credit Officer or similar role, with a passion for collections and customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficient in banking software and systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Working Hours and Location:

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. Flexible working hours may be discussed during the interview process.
