Dynamic Indigenous Education Role

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong cultural knowledge, effective communication skills, and a passion for promoting Indigenous education and culture.

  • Support the academic, emotional, and social wellbeing of Indigenous students through targeted interventions and activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement culturally responsive teaching practices.
  • Assist with classroom activities, student supervision, and school events while maintaining a focus on Indigenous student engagement.
Key Qualifications:
  • Must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
  • Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and contemporary issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience working in schools or with young people.
  • Basic digital literacy and organisational skills.
