Indigenous STEM Education Specialist, Impact and Evaluation

We are seeking a dedicated professional to drive evidence-based change and strengthen Indigenous leadership in STEM education.

  • Ambitious individual will build and maintain respectful relationships with Traditional Owners, community leaders, and local Knowledge Holders to co-design evaluation frameworks and data systems that align with cultural protocols and support Indigenous-led solutions.
  • The role requires identifying and addressing barriers to the adoption of evidence-based STEM education interventions and models, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop practical guides and resources for achieving an evidence-driven STEM education ecosystem.
  • High-level duties involve supporting an Indigenous co-design approach to evidence/evaluation methods that respects traditional knowledge and considers the unique context of Indigenous communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to amplify Indigenous voices, perspectives, knowledges, and science within the STEM education ecosystem.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address systemic barriers to the adoption and scalability of evidence-based STEM education interventions and models.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of culturally responsive evaluation frameworks, tools, and data systems that respect traditional knowledge and support Indigenous-led solutions.

This role is open to flexible working arrangements and values diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with Indigenous communities and cultures.
