Job Overview

Beachworkz has been a local favourite for over 20 years, offering a wide range of surf and swim related gear. As a key team member, you will be responsible for the daily shop operations to optimise customer experience.

  • Manage store operations efficiently and effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing recommendations, assistance and support as needed.
  • Ensure seamless point of sale tasks including accurate stock entry and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain an engaging and navigable store layout through visual merchandising.
  • Ensure the shop is clean and well-maintained at all times.
  • Provide administrative support to the owner in an efficient and timely manner.
Key Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills with both verbal and written abilities.
  • Knowledge of surf products and trends to assist customers in making informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to handle various situations that may arise.
  • Able to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to perform administrative tasks.
  • Previous retail experience with a proven track record of success.
