About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Park Manager to join our team at RAC Esperance Holiday Park in a full-time capacity. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all operational elements of the park, including provision of high-standard accommodation, hospitality services, and a range of other activities to ensure the smooth running of the park.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the park, ensuring seamless delivery of services and activities.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and develop a team of Front Office, Cafe, Housekeeping, and Maintenance staff to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Lead a safety-first culture across the property, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, including occupational health and safety practices.
  • Financial Management: Undertake financial management, operating the budget, ensuring procurement, cost controls, and driving revenue.
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain assets within the property, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with local stakeholders, including council, industry bodies, and community groups, to foster strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Facility Management: Manage the operations of onsite facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and service.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with demonstrated management experience in the hospitality or related industries.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including MS Office, NewBook (or similar reservations system), Financial Software, Rostering Software, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of caravan park grounds and maintenance requirements, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting on caravan park operations.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, current Driver's Licence, Police Clearance, and Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Availability: Availability to meet operational working hours across a 7-day week roster, including weekends, public holidays, and reasonable overtime.
