Maintenance Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and manage our maintenance and engineering team at FMC Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead performance and drive continuous improvements in meeting maintenance department objectives and targets.
  • Review and implement preventative maintenance programs to improve reliability, costs, and equipment uptime.
  • Ensure the availability and regular review of work instructions and SOPs for maintenance practices and activities.
  • Supervise and develop the maintenance team to meet results through cooperation and collaboration.
  • Develop Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) plans and support PHA execution.
  • Lead or assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to solve health, safety, environment, and productivity problems.
  • Be responsible for evaluating and approving all final design documents for the Management of Change procedure.
  • Promote weekly toolbox safety presentations and support site safety efforts.
  • Accountable for safe, efficient, effective contractor management and execution of site small CAPEX projects and maintenance vendor service agreements.
  • Plan and control maintenance OPEX budget, including capital expenditures.
  • Debottleneck process and practices and lead development and execution of small to medium projects in coordination with the Tech Center.
  • Represent Maintenance in audits and participate in other internal/external quality system audits.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in maintaining manufacturing plant with focus on reliability aspects.
  • Strong team leadership, people development, and coaching skills.
  • Experience in SAP PM module or similar.
  • Experience in conducting RCA and FMEA.
  • Experience in managing and leading minor capital projects and execution.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, able to work with a diverse group.
  • Skilled in LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies (preferred).
