About the Company

Role Overview

This position reports directly to the Commissioning Manager and is responsible for overseeing the commissioning of intricate systems, ensuring compliance with stringent standards and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership & Coordination: Direct commissioning teams through factory acceptance testing, installation verification, pre-commissioning, and performance assessments.
  2. Safety & Compliance: Maintain health, safety, and environmental protocols. Recognize and mitigate hazards while enforcing company regulations.
  3. Technical Expertise: Formulate and manage commissioning strategies, coordinate resources, and confirm that systems align with performance criteria.
  4. Customer Focus: Cultivate strong relationships with clients and deliver services that surpass expectations.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Propel internal system enhancements and improve external service delivery.
  6. Communication: Facilitate effective communication within teams and with stakeholders to ensure clarity and influence project outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Electrical Trade or Engineering degree
  2. High voltage experience or qualification (Desirable)
  3. Hazardous area experience or qualifications
  4. Relevant industry experience in power generation or related heavy industry (Oil & Gas, Mining, or Industrial)
  5. Experience in construction commissioning and testing
  6. Comprehensive technical knowledge and practical experience in testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of power generation facilities preferred.
  7. Proven success in commissioning roles, with comfort in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  8. Experience with industrial control systems (Desirable)
  9. Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
  12. Proficient in MS Office
  13. Valid Driver's License (Essential)
  14. Eligibility to work in Australia
