Job Overview

As a Master Plumber, you will oversee and manage large plumbing projects. Your responsibilities will include designing plumbing systems, selecting appropriate materials, inspecting and testing installed systems, training junior plumbers, and maintaining quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop plumbing systems for various projects
  • Select and procure materials for plumbing installations
  • Inspect and test installed systems to ensure they meet safety standards
  • Train and mentor junior plumbers to improve their skills
  • Maintain quality control measures to ensure high-quality service delivery
Requirements
  • Must be a US or Australian citizen
  • Must have a US TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or an Australian PV clearance
  • Must have at least five years of plumbing experience
  • Must have a Master Plumbing license or its equivalent in Australia
  • Extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards
  • Adaptability to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements
  • Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure

  • Backflow Prevention Inspector Certification
Location and Work Environment

This role will be located in Alice Springs at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
