Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT infrastructure specialist to join our team. As a senior system engineer, you will be responsible for designing and defining system architecture for new or existing computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Maintains the organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems
  • Provides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
  • Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
  • Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
  • Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
  • Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
  • Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
  • Ensures data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations

Requirements:

  • Certification: IAT Level II certification required
  • CompTIA Security+ CE
  • Experience: High School diploma or equivalent - 20 years; Bachelor's degree - 25 years
  • Clearance Required: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Facility Security Officer (FSO) polygraph
  • Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
