Job Title: Roofer

Roofer is responsible for the construction, repair, or replacement of building roofs and other structure roofs. This involves reporting to the Foreman and receiving assignments, instructions, and direction.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret instructions and documentation, and plan work activities.
  • Select roofing materials and ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Build roofs using various materials and tools, and repair or replace broken materials.
  • Remove debris from roofs to place materials, and smooth roof surfaces and fill in edges with cement.
  • Ensure roofs protect buildings from weather conditions, and maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, and professional atmosphere.
  • Perform all assigned duties as safely and efficiently as possible, observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, and wear required personal protective equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Skillset: Knowledge of hand tools, roofing, construction, and maintenance techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, or walking, and comfortably perform all physical activities while working at height.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Languages: English language proficiency, ability to speak, read, and understand the English Language.
  • Additional Requirements: Pass overseas medical screening and be in good health, and have a valid country of origin's driver's license.
