Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team in a key finance role.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
Responsibilities:
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving, checking vendor information, quantities, payment terms, and costs before entering them into our accounts payable system.
- Verify accounts payable edits after data entry for errors.
- Create weekly/monthly payment runs.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Balance vendor statements to accounts payable ledger and rectify any discrepancies.
- Review all vendor account credit balances and return them to the company. Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
- Manage Petty Cash.
- Bank Reconciliation.
- Back up for Accounts Receivable.
- Other duties as assigned.
