Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an experienced professional in accounts payable, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate payment of supplier invoices.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be highly detail-oriented, and have experience with financial software systems. If you are a motivated individual looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoicing and payment queries
- Confirm all necessary approvals are obtained prior to processing payments
- Accurately file and store all invoices, payment documents, and supporting records
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and support month-end closing
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years recent experience in the administration of Accounts Payable end to end
- Experience within the home care, disability or aged care services or health care sectors is highly desirable
- High level attention to detail, friendly and professional phone manner, and strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel), including intermediate excel skills (as a minimum)
- Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
