Event Coordinator Role

We are seeking a passionate and hardworking Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll make a real impact on the everyday lives of people within our community by achieving important outcomes for growth and development.

About the Role

You will coordinate and facilitate a program of events and activities that encourage community participation and visitation, creating a vibrant and creative social environment.

With qualifications in Events or Project Management, and relevant experience, you will be responsible for the management of flagship events, providing information and support for community groups to hold their own events, helping them secure funding, and identifying potential future events and activities.

You will also be responsible for the Civic Centre and provide support for both council and community functions.

Ability to work after hours and weekends to suit planned events and functions is a must.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Events or Project Management
  • Demonstrated event management experience
