As a strategic risk and compliance professional, we seek an accomplished Compliance Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of our company's compliance framework. With expertise in Responsible Entity or Wraps/Platform, you will provide critical advice and support to foster a robust and effective risk and compliance culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing a comprehensive compliance framework for our entity
  • Oversight and monitoring of all regulatory requirements, including reporting to senior management and the compliance committee
  • Conducting thorough compliance reviews, including approval of key documents such as Product Disclosure Statements and Significant Event Notices
  • Managing incidents, breaches, and complaints through established protocols
  • Developing and reviewing policies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Representing the Risk and Compliance Team on key projects and initiatives
  • Assessing and implementing regulatory and legislative changes to maintain compliance
  • Providing expert guidance and support on complex compliance queries from stakeholders
  • Collaborating with external bodies, including advisers, auditors, and regulators, as required
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services sector
  • Deep understanding of financial services compliance and regulatory environments, including obligations under AFS licensing regimes
  • Excellent knowledge of best practice approaches to managing regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strategic relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience in communicating complex information effectively
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and industry certifications
  • Experience working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems is highly desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment, adopting a consultative approach to achieve results
