About the role

This position is critical to our future growth and impact. We're looking for a proactive professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

You'll collaborate across disciplines, contribute to high-impact water infrastructure projects, and help shape outcomes that matter.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of civil designs across the project lifecycle, including water utilities and pump station projects
  • Prepare and review technical documentation to support construction and compliance
  • Manage or support the design of water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Strengthen client relationships through collaborative and high-quality project delivery
  • Support proposal development and contribute to successful project bids
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure programs

About you

You'll be a degree-qualified Civil Engineer (or equivalent) with over 6 years of experience in the water infrastructure consulting space. You'll bring a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset to every project.

Your strengths include:

  • Proven experience in designing and managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency with Australian Standards, WSAA codes, and design tools such as Civil 3D and 2D/3D CAD
  • Ability to lead or support multiple projects, balancing technical, commercial, and risk considerations
  • Skilled in preparing and reviewing high-quality technical reports and communicating complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with modelling software, analytics, and equipment selection
  • Knowledge of safety in design principles, including CHAIR and HAZOP methodologies
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies
  • Bonus: Experience in Design & Construction project environments
