About the role
This position is critical to our future growth and impact. We're looking for a proactive professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
You'll collaborate across disciplines, contribute to high-impact water infrastructure projects, and help shape outcomes that matter.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of civil designs across the project lifecycle, including water utilities and pump station projects
Prepare and review technical documentation to support construction and compliance
Manage or support the design of water and wastewater infrastructure
Strengthen client relationships through collaborative and high-quality project delivery
Support proposal development and contribute to successful project bids
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure programs
About you
You'll be a degree-qualified Civil Engineer (or equivalent) with over 6 years of experience in the water infrastructure consulting space. You'll bring a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset to every project.
Your strengths include:
Proven experience in designing and managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Proficiency with Australian Standards, WSAA codes, and design tools such as Civil 3D and 2D/3D CAD
Ability to lead or support multiple projects, balancing technical, commercial, and risk considerations
Skilled in preparing and reviewing high-quality technical reports and communicating complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences
Familiarity with modelling software, analytics, and equipment selection
Knowledge of safety in design principles, including CHAIR and HAZOP methodologies
A proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies
Bonus: Experience in Design & Construction project environments
