Project Coordinator Role

This position involves overseeing and delivering assigned infrastructure projects related to roads, footpaths, cycleways, traffic facilities, bridge maintenance, and renewals.

About the Position
  • Managing contractors and day labour staff to ensure projects are completed in accordance with design specifications, safety protocols, environmental regulations, and timeliness objectives.
  • Preparing and evaluating tender documentation in compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Developing Project Management Plans for each project to be undertaken.
  • Contract management and site supervision to guarantee that projects are delivered within the defined scope, budget, and timeframe.
  • Reporting on progress against the Project Management Plan on a regular basis.
About You
  • Degree or tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Comprehensive experience in the application of various project management methodologies in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in using specialized software such as databases, CAD applications, computer mapping applications, and project management tools.
  • A valid Driver's licence and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) certification.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure successful completion of assigned projects that enhance the environment within the community.
