Civil Infrastructure Project Manager

This is a vital infrastructure project aimed at safeguarding the city's water supply by ensuring residents receive safe, secure, and reliable drinking water, especially during periods of compromised water quality caused by storms, droughts, or bushfires.

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead complex civil works and manage project teams through to successful completion.

  • Take ownership of designated civil works packages, ensuring delivery in line with time, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee planning and coordination of resources, materials, and construction methodologies, driving best-practice outcomes on site.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving expertise to resolve engineering challenges efficiently.
  • Manage subcontractor performance across larger and more complex scopes, including financial control, progress tracking, and variation management.
  • Liaise effectively with the client, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and delivery standards.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, proven experience in a senior project engineer role, and demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and site teams.
