Job Opportunity:

This pivotal role within our Corporate Services team leads the strategic direction and delivery of risk management frameworks and corporate governance arrangements.

As Director of Audit, Risk and Safety, you will uphold risk-based, ethical decision making through expert governance advice and analytical support. Maintaining an accurate view of key risks and implementing improvements to strengthen risk management and organisational performance are crucial aspects of this role.

Responsibilities include coordinating input for timely, insightful and compliant annual reporting in collaboration with key stakeholders.

  • Lead the agency's risk management framework and corporate governance arrangements
  • Support the Executive in upholding risk-based, ethical decision making
  • Maintain an accurate view of key risks
  • Implement improvements to strengthen risk management and organisational performance
  • Coordinate the input to production of our Annual Report

About You

A senior leader with extensive experience at a senior/executive level managing enterprise risk and safety.

Professional certifications such as Certified Practicing Risk Manager (CPRM) from Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) or Member of Governance Institute of Australia (e.g. AGIA or FGIA)

Deep knowledge of ISO 31000 and relevant legislation

Proven ability to influence, lead change, and foster a culture of integrity and accountability
