Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Strategist to lead our organization's data governance efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing data governance standards, as well as building healthy cultures that promote data awareness and responsibility.

The Data Governance Strategist will partner with enterprise-wide leaders to drive our strategy forward. They will be responsible for continuously evolving our data governance strategy, facilitating enterprise-wide adoption and alignment of critical data governance deliverables, and coordinating master data management workshops.

The successful candidate will also maintain the Enterprise Business Data Model, support information, technology, and security risk committee objectives, and ensure compliance with Australian Prudential Regulation CPG235 Managing Data Risk.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Data Governance: A proven track record of developing and implementing data governance standards, as well as building healthy cultures that promote data awareness and responsibility.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
