Job Overview

We are seeking an organised and proactive professional to coordinate vessel operations and crew scheduling in our Defence Marine Support Services team.

  • Vessel Operations Coordination: Coordinate vessel operations to ensure seamless support for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).
  • Crew Scheduling: Work closely with site management, teams, and stakeholders to deliver cost-effective, safe, and efficient marine services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule vessel operations and crewing requirements.
  • Manage daily service requests to ensure timely delivery of all commitments.
  • Maintain workforce management systems and crew training registers.
  • Assist with operational reporting and administrative support.
  • Engage professionally with Defence representatives and contractors.
  • Support after-hours operational requirements on a rotational basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven administrative expertise with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A background in maritime operations.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities under minimal supervision.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Baseline).
