Salary InformationThe salary for this role is above the award wage, with a casual leave loading allowance. The estimated annual salary is $65,000 - $75,000 based on a 20-hour workweek.
Job DescriptionThis Casual Educator position involves working in our Evanston Park centre, supporting our team and children in providing high-quality educational programs. As a Casual Educator, you will be responsible for actively contributing to the education program, engaging and supervising children, maintaining a safe environment, and building strong relationships with families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the centre's educational program.
- Engage and supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and organized learning environment that promotes children's health and safety.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, communicating effectively about their child's progress and needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
